Ithaca College provides secure wireless connection through the IthacaCollege network.

If you need assistance configuring your connection, please contact the DIIS Service Desk in Job Hall 104 or call (607) 274-1000 during regular business hours.



IthacaCollege

Select your operating system and follow the instructions to connect.

When you change your password, you will need to re-connect to IthacaCollege with your new password.



Mac OS

Click the Airport icon in the menu bar.  If necessary, choose Turn AirPort (or Wi-Fi) On


Select IthacaCollege wireless network connection

Select Mode: Automatic

Enter your Netpass Username (do not include "@ithaca.edu") and Password - do not change the information in any other fields 


Click Join

You should now have a secure wireless connection to the Internet

Windows 7

Click the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar

Select the IthacaCollege wireless network connection and click Connect


Enter your Netpass Username (do not include "@ithaca.edu") and Password

Do not change the information in any other fields.  If prompted, leave the domain field blank.

Click OK

You should now have a secure wireless connection to the Internet

Windows 10

Click the Wi-Fi icon next to the clock and click IthacaCollege and click connect

Enter your Netpass Username (do not include "@ithaca.edu") and Password

Click OK

If you see the following screen, click Connect

You should now have a secure wireless connection to the Internet

iOS Device

Click the Wi-Fi icon from the Settings menu and select IthacaCollege

Enter your Netpass Username (do not include "@ithaca.edu") and Password


Select Trust to accept the cppm.ithaca.edu certificate


You should now have a secure wireless connection to the Internet

Mobile Devices 

Exact steps will vary by device. 

  • In your Wi-Fisettings, connect to IthacaCollege

  • Enter your Netpass Username (do not include "@ithaca.edu") and Password

  • IthacaCollege uses 802.1x EAP 

  • EAP method is PEAP 

  • Phase 2 authentication is none

  • After changing your NetPass password, "forget" the IthacaCollege network and reconnect

  • You should now have a secure wireless connection to the Internet.


Other Operating Systems and Devices


While other operating systems/devices might be able to successfully connect to IthacaCollege, DIIS cannot provide support for those not listed above.
